ALICE RENIER (she,her) is a theater artist and educator who specializes in working with heightened text. She has served as an arts education administrator and teacher for The Public Theater, Classic Stage Company, Red Bull Theater, and Columbia University. She is currently collaborating with The Classical Theatre of Harlem to develop a library of socially conscious study guides for the most studied classic plays in Western literature. She served as acting coach for the first national tours of American Girl: Live! and Bandstand. In Fall 2025 she will become a certified facilitator with Alchemy Inc, a nonprofit that uses the power of myth and storytelling to mentor young people and adults. In addition to her work in theatre, she is a certified yoga and mindfulness instructor. She is a founding member of Apocalyptic Artists Ensemble, for whom she co-directed the 2021 filmed adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
